A pebble to them is like a ring. They keep it in their nest. They not gonna pick any pebble. They looking for that one special pebble. 

Once they mate, they are together for the rest of their life. No this is not made up.

Penguins life span is like from 15-20 years. If one of them die, they refuse to find other males.

From all of the animal in the animal kingdom, i think penguin have the best love story :)
